Yes, you can! We sell a variable Teen gift card at your local Woolworths.
You can use your gift card at any of our top participating retailers Australia wide.
Your gift card cannot be redeemed at concession or third party stockists.
Yes, but not all of our retailers are able to be redeemed online. Please check if your participating retailer will accept online redemption here.
When you choose the retailer, it will also show you how to redeem you card online.
Using your card in store is very easy - simply present your gift card at the participating retailer to swipe at the eftpos terminal. Select "SAVINGS," enter the PIN on the back of card and you're done.
If the transaction amount exceeds the card’s balance, you will need to pay for the remaining amount on a different card or cash.Please check if your Teen Card carries sufficient balance to complete the swap. If the card’s balance is lower than the e-gift voucher amount, the swap will decline. If it has sufficient balance but still declining then please contact us directly so we can assist.
Sorry to hear that. Check out the following reasons your card may not be working:
- The balance you have nominated is not available. You can check your card balance here.
- Your gift card has expired. Gift cards have a 36 month expiry, which can be calculated 36 months from the date of issue, or you can see the expiry within the Check Balance section of our site.
- The retailer you have tried to use your gift card at is not a participating retailer with The Active Card. You can view participating retailers here.

We take security very seriously, and a major part of that is ensuring that orders are placed by the legitimate cardholder.
If your order is declined during the checkout process, it means we were unable to verify your purchase, and it was declined out of caution.
We recommend placing your order again completing all required details – such as phone number, email and billing address – that match the card holder’s information. We will then re-assess your order.
